Greylan James

Greylan James is one of Nashville’s most exciting young country artists—and a songwriter behind some of the biggest hits in modern country music. Raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, Greylan picked up his first guitar at five and spent his childhood playing everywhere from tailgates and patios to dive bars and even funerals. Now, he’s bringing that same love of live music to the stage as an artist of his own. Before stepping into the spotlight, Greylan became a celebrated songwriter with cuts recorded by Kenny Chesney, Morgan Wallen, Cole Swindell, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Bailey Zimmerman, BRELAND, and more. He co-wrote Jordan Davis’ No. 1 hit “Next Thing You Know,” earning an ACM Award for Song of the Year, a BMI Award, and a CMA Award nomination. With two No. 1 hits and more than 1 billion streams across his songwriting catalog, Greylan is now building his own catalog with songs like his buzzy Top 20 single “Water At A Wedding.” SiriusXM has called him “a superstar just beginning to hit his stride,” praising his songwriting and artistry. After touring with Old Dominion, Scotty McCreery, and Cole Swindell, Greylan is stepping into his next chapter with his headlining Wedding Season: The Tour.
