Jkillem Dance Class + Sapphic Meet & Greet

Ready to connect with your personal style, learn some choreography, and spend an evening in community with your fellow sapphics? Midwest Sapphic Society is bringing you an pre-NYE exclusive dance class with Jkiillem, with an optional meet and greet beforehand at one of our favorite spots: Vino & Vibes, a lesbian-owned wine bar in Utica! 🍷 Whether you’re looking to build confidence, explore your movement, or simply try something new with your community, this is your invitation to step outside your comfort zone and have some fun. 📍 A NOTE ABOUT THE LOCATION: We know… Macomb County. 😅 BUT plot twist: this dance studio is queer- and female-owned. BIG WIN. 🏳️‍🌈💜 Come as you are, take up space, and enjoy the class without worrying about explaining yourself or whether you belong. You’re in good company here! ✨ 💃 THE DANCE CLASS This class is taught by Jkiillem and begins with a brief introduction before moving into choreography. Each class has the same goal: helping you connect with your own personal style while breaking down dance and movement in a way that encourages exploration, confidence, and self-expression. Please note: This class features intermediate-level choreography. Come prepared with enough room to move comfortably, and knee pads are recommended! 🍷 THE MEET & GREET Join us for an optional meet and greet at Vino & Vibes in Utica, our favorite lesbian-owned wine bar, just about 10 minutes from the studio. We plan to start around 5-5:30 PM to allow everyone enough time to get to the studio to get settled in by 7:00 PM! It’s the perfect opportunity to grab a drink, meet Jkiillem, connect with other attendees, and keep building the community we all love. 🏳️‍🌈 WHO CAN ATTEND? All sapphic women are welcome. You do not have to be a masculine presenting sapphic, or an experienced dancer to participate. These classes are for any sapphic women who wants to show up, learn, and express themselves. No need to be perfect. Just bring yourself, an open mind, and a willingness to move. SPACE IS LIMITED, so grab your ticket and come dance with us! Can’t wait to see you there!!
