Second Wednesdays at Boketto: A Monthly Community Spotlight October is Menopause Awareness Month! Our featured speaker is Karissa Pfeffer- Workforce Menopause Consultant & Health Coach. This session dives into how perimenopause and menopause often get overlooked as causes for changes in mental health, wellbeing, and everyday life. You’ll learn about symptoms like anxiety, mood swings, sleep troubles, brain fog, and difficulty concentrating that are sometimes mistaken for stress or burnout. We’ll explore how hormonal shifts can affect both your personal and professional world, why it’s so important to raise awareness about menopause, and how having menopause-informed conversations can help women feel truly understood and supported during this phase. This gathering is intentionally kept small, capped at 12 people, so there's room for real conversation rather than a lecture hall feel. Registration is $5. Every dollar goes to Boketto's Therapy for All Fund, providing free and low-cost therapy to community members who couldn't otherwise access it.
