RECONNECT 2026

Reconnect is more than a convention - it's an experience designed for the entire family. This year's theme, Reconnecting to Our Roots – Grounded in Faith, Growing with Purpose, invites us to return to the foundations that ground us. Through inspiring lectures, practical workshops, meaningful conversations, and engaging family programming, Reconnect provides an opportunity to grow spiritually, strengthen our families, and build lasting connections within our community. Taking place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at The Fairlane Club in Dearborn, Michigan, Reconnect will feature renowned scholars, educators, and community leaders alongside a vibrant community bazaar and one of the region's most engaging children's programs. Whether you're a student, young professional, parent, or grandparent, Reconnect offers meaningful experiences for every generation. Come spend the weekend learning, reflecting, and reconnecting to what matters most. This year's 9th annual Reconnect will feature: • Friday Community Nights – Start your Reconnect weekend by joining free Friday night events hosted across the community, offering inspiring discussions, Q&A sessions, and meaningful connection before Saturday's convention. • Saturday English & Arabic Programs – Be inspired by nationally recognized scholars alongside beloved local speakers through powerful sessions centered on faith, identity, and purpose, offered in both English and Arabic. • Educational Workshops – Dive deeper into today's most relevant topics through three practical workshops focused on parenting in the age of AI, mental health and wellness, and entrepreneurship. • Kids Club – An engaging program featuring hands-on STEM activities, Islamic learning, games, crafts, live entertainment, and more. Kids Club is available from 1:00–6:00 PM for children ages 4–9. A parent or guardian must be attending Reconnect with a General Admission ticket for the child to participate in Kids Club. • Bazaar – Explore a vibrant marketplace featuring Muslim-owned businesses, artisans, nonprofit organizations, delicious food, and unique shopping experiences. The opinions expressed by guest speakers are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of MI RECONNECT.
