Volunteer Event: Riverfront-Lakewood East Park Invasive Plant Removal

We need your help removing invasive plants at Riverfront-Lakewood Park This park is part of the Detroit Bird City project to create native bird and pollinator habitat in Detroit City parks. We are currently preparing to install a meadow full of native flowers and grasses. No prior knowledge or experience is necessary! Bring: work shoes, water bottle, work gloves, loppers and/or pruners.
