Herb Your Enthusiasm: DIY Holiday Gifts

Make the season extra flavorful! Turn fresh herbs into gift-ready salts, vinegars, and teas, plus take home your own herb salt. 'Tis the season for gifts you’ll actually want to give! Join Certified Master Food Preserver Amy Parlette of The Suburban Homestead for a demo-style class on preserving herbs for holiday gifting. You'll watch (and help!) as Amy shows how to turn fresh herbs into three gift-ready staples: herb salt, herb-infused vinegar, and a custom tea blend. Along the way, we'll cover the basics of herb preservation — drying, infusing, and storing — so you can keep the gifting going well past the holidays. You'll leave with: • Your own finished jar of herb salt ready to gift or keep • Recipes for all three, so you can make more at home • An understanding of herb preservation basics: drying, infusing, and storing • Ideas for building your own gift sets from pantry staples Whether you're stumped on hostess gifts or just love a good DIY, this class will have you gifting (and preserving) with confidence. Come for the class, stay for the inspiration—explore Lurvey's seasonal offerings and discover tools, plants, and pantry-ready goods to take your garden-to-table game to the next level!
