Velvet Stitch House is excited to welcome Courtney Phillips, Director of Mini Mahjer EDU and 20-year veteran educator, for a special kids' mahjong lesson designed to make the game fun, approachable, and easy to understand for young learners. Using the Mini Mahjer Method, an adapted teaching approach built for all types of learners, Courtney has a gift for making mahjong click for kids in a way that's engaging and age-appropriate. Best of all? September 21st is a no-school day, making this the perfect drop-off activity to keep your kids learning, laughing, and having fun while you get a few hours to yourself!
