Michigan 8 Benefit Concert

Join us for live music, food, and art vendors to support the Michigan 8's legal defense fund. We are organizing in solidarity with the Michigan 8, some of whom are beloved members of the Chicago community. The Michigan 8 are pro-Palestine activists arrested as part of a federal case targeting Palestine organizing at the University of Michigan. They face decades in prison. This repression is part of an ongoing and coordinated effort to dismantle the movement for Palestine, and as people of conscience we stand together for a free Palestine and in unwavering support of the Michigan 8. Read more about the Michigan 8 and stay up to date with the case here. Drinks are included with entry; there will be food available for purchase. Plan for a raffle of local artists’ goods, live music (stay tuned for the lineup!), an art fair, and maybe a stick and poke or two :) All ticket types include admission to the event. A higher-cost ticket means a larger donation to the legal defense fund, which is encouraged and greatly appreciated! If you can't attend and/or would like to make an additional donation, you can donate through this page. We appreciate all additional support. Doors, food, and vendors open @ 6pm. Music @ 7pm. We are excited to come together in community, move our money for good, and honor our brave comrades at the upcoming benefit! And we’re excited to do it all with you!
