Networking event with a twist! Murder Mystery (you’re a suspect!)

Small business owners in the northwest suburbs, experience a networking event while also solving a crime. You could be the murderer! What is a murder mystery? Murder mystery is a guessing game. The goal is to correctly guess who the murderer is. You'll be assigned one of two roles. You'll either be a character in the story (given to you 5 minutes prior to the start of the story), or, you'll be a non-character participant. Both roles will be given cards which have ‘tasks’ on them. 'Tasks' will involve asking other characters questions, so you'll be walking around the room, speaking with other characters. Every character is a suspect. Completing your tasks will give you clues, and give others clues to solving the crime. You’ll have around one hour to complete your tasks. Then, at the end of the story you’ll cast your vote for who you think is the murderer! You'll be given more instructions on how the event works 5 minutes prior to the start of the story (it's very simple!). Date: Wednesday, October 21st Location: Cinergy (401 W Dundee Rd) Timeline: 5:30pm - 6:00pm open networking 6:00pm - 7:15pm murder mystery event 7:15pm - 8:30pm open networking 🎟️ Early Bird: $23.88 (total at check out, no additional fees) 🎟️ GA : $32.67 (total at check out, no additional fees) Dresscode: This is a casual event, so come dressed casual if you would like! But if you're feeling adventurous, this is a 1920's themed murder mystery. Dressing the theme is highly encouraged. Since you won't know who your character is until a few minutes before the story starts, don't worry about trying to dress the exact part. A general 1920's themed attire works. I provide props/costumes for each character as well, they'll be there for you to use if you want! Photography note: We'll have a photographer snapping photos throughout the night, and by attending you're giving us the OK to use them in future Tri-Cities Central newsletter and promos.
