About Minnesota Compass Minnesota Compass was developed when leaders from across Minnesota voiced a desire to have credible, easy-to-access data about their communities. Wilder Research worked with advisors representing business, government, nonprofit, and philanthropy to create Minnesota Compass as a statewide resource for reliable information. At Minnesota Compass, we compile data and information from reliable sources and make it easy to understand. We track trends and measure progress on quality-of-life measures that are chosen and developed by community advisors. And we help analyze and interpret data so policymakers and nonprofit, business, and community leaders can make informed decisions to benefit their communities. Minnesota Compass is a project of Wilder Research. Thanks to our Sponsors Ordean Foundation — Regional Sponsor
