Something to Smile About

Greenstone Financial Group presents a special screening of "Something to Smile About", filmed by Peyton Reece & Sam Rengo. Join us in the Esko High School Theater for a special showing of the documentary Something to Smile About. The film follows the lives of five people living in Mathare, Kenya, one of Nairobi’s largest informal settlements and a place often described only through the language of poverty, hardship and crime. The film explores the struggle of life in Mathare, while offering a human portrait of resilience, friendship, humor and hope. See the official trailer here. Stay after the showing to put together water filters to benefit communities around the world just like those featured in the documentary. Please RSVP here as theater seating is limited. We’re Greenstone Financial Group, a team of Thrivent financial professionals with Thrivent, and we are excited to host this showing. Learn more about us by visiting our website.
