About the artist - Rachel Brown: Rachel Brown is an experienced educator and artist working primarily in watercolor, creating atmospheric landscapes that explore light, memory, and the quiet relationships between people and the natural world. She loves sharing the spontaneous and playful qualities of watercolor with her students. From landscapes to botanicals and pet portraits, her paintings seek to capture moments that feel both intimate and timeless. Alongside her painting practice, she also creates modern art quilts, extending her exploration of texture, composition, and storytelling through textile work.
