Join Chicago Area Fisk University Alumni Association, Inc. (CAFUAA, Inc.) for Fisk University Legacy Through the Lens of Art Hello! On Sunday, October 4, 2026 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Saint Ignatius College Prep, we will celebrate our community and specifically Fisk’s contribution to art while raising funds to ensure that Chicago Area Fisk University Alumni Association (CAFUAA) can continue to support local students. The proceeds from 2026 Fisk University Legacy Through the Lens of Art directly support our mission to provide scholarships for students from the Chicagoland Area (including NW Indiana) as well as support the university through fundraising. Our keynote speaker for the event will be Jamaal Sheats, MFA, Associate Provost of Art and Culture at Fisk University and Director and Curator of the Fisk University Galleries and Co-Author of: “Many Ways of Seeing: Georgia O’Keeffe, Fisk University, and the Alfred Stieglitz Collection”. • Art History, Music, Book Signing and Light Bites • Limited art pieces and copies of “Many Ways of Seeing…” will be for sale. We are excited about our new event to support Fisk University.
