Full description from organizerShow less
Tufting is a modern take on the traditional craft of rug-making, using a tufting gun to weave yarn through a cut of monk's cloth. No prior experience is required for this project, as all materials are provided. We will guide you through the fundamentals of operating the tufting gun, and in just a few minutes, you will be capable of creating rows of stitches. As a result, you will witness fluffy tufts of yarn blooming on the other side, as you gradually handcraft your own personalized rug—one tuft at a time What you’ll learn: • Learn to transfer your design/drawing onto the primary fabric • Detailed guidance on operating a tufting gun • Tufting techniques What should I prepare: • Select an image/dseign prior to arriving at the studio, preferably one with vibrant and bold colors. Simply save the image on your phone; there's no need to print it out. • Be prepared that you will be in the studio for at least 2-3 hours. • This activity is only for age 14 or above. • Rug will be ready for pick up/ship out in 4 days
