Now Let Us Help You Do It Right. Making the decision to pursue your Concealed Carry license is one of the most important decisions you'll ever make. It says something powerful about who you are — someone who takes the safety of the people they love seriously. But let's be honest. The process is intimidating. The laws are complex. The paperwork is confusing. The range can feel overwhelming if you've never handled a firearm before. And the last thing anyone wants is to walk into a classroom — or onto a range — and feel lost, unprepared, or unsafe. That's where we come in. At Five Elements Tactical Training, we've guided over 2,500 students through this exact journey — many of whom came in nervous, uncertain, and unsure of themselves — and every single one of them walked out the door feeling something they didn't expect: Confident. Capable. Ready. That feeling — knowing you can safely handle a firearm, protect your home, defend your family, and carry with competence — is what we're here to give you. And we don't stop until you have it. 💥 This Is Not Just a Course. This Is a Transformation. From the moment you walk through our door, you are in expert hands. You will never feel rushed, judged, or left behind. Whether you've never touched a firearm in your life or you've been shooting for years, our job is to meet you exactly where you are — and bring you to where you need to be. You'll leave knowing: ✅ How to safely handle, store, and carry a firearm — in your home, on your person, and at the range ✅ The laws that govern your rights and responsibilities as a license holder ✅ How to think defensively — not paranoid, but prepared ✅ How to respond calmly and effectively under pressure ✅ That you are your family's first line of defense — and you are ready for that responsibility No confusion. No myths. No guesswork. Just clear, masterful instruction delivered under expert supervision, in a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free environment. 🛡️ Safe, Supervised, and Judgment-Free — Especially for Beginners We know what it feels like to be new to something and not want to look like you don't know what you're doing. That feeling is completely normal — and we've seen it walk through our door hundreds of times. Here's our promise to you: No question is too basic. No concern is too small. Every student is treated with patience, respect, and encouragement. Our number one priority on Day One — and every day — is your safety, your comfort, and your confidence. You will never be put in a situation you're not ready for. You will never be rushed. You will never feel embarrassed for asking a question. And by the time you qualify on Day Two, you will feel something you may not have expected walking in: Pride. Control. Confidence. The kind that comes from knowing — really knowing — that you have the skill, the knowledge, and the mindset to be the protector your family deserves. 🎓 Train With New York's Most Experienced CCW Instructor Dave Herman isn't just certified — he's the real thing. 🔵 Retired Police Officer — Years of real-world experience in high-pressure, high-stakes situations 🔵 Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor — Trained to train the professionals who protect us 🔵 Defensive Tactics Instructor — Practical, physical, scenario-based training 🔵 Active Shooter Response Instructor — Life-saving knowledge you can't get from a textbook 🔵 FBI, NRA & NYS-DCJS Certified Firearms Instructor 🔵 Degree in Education — A rare and powerful combination: someone who not only knows this material inside and out, but knows how to teach it — especially to beginners Dave has a gift for taking complex, intimidating information and making it simple, clear, and memorable.
