In-person class: Handmade Dumplings (Long Island)

Handmade Dumplings Discover the art of handmade dumplings in this fun, interactive cooking class! Guided by your expert chef instructor, you'll learn how to create delicious shrimp and chive dumplings entirely from scratch, from preparing the delicate wrappers and flavourful filling to mastering traditional folding techniques, including classic pleats and triangular folds. Along the way, you'll explore the cultural significance of dumplings and pick up essential tips for achieving the perfect texture and flavour. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned home cook, you'll enjoy getting hands-on as you fill, fold, and shape your own dumplings. By the end of the class, you'll have gained the skills and confidence to recreate these delicious bites at home and impress friends and family with your newfound dumpling-making expertise! No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing). Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Parking is available on site. Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price, but will be available for sale at the venue. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only.
