Opening Reception - the Art of Collage

Featuring the work of artist Thomas Cabrera Join us at Westbury Arts for the opening reception of The Art of Collage, a vibrant exhibition curated by artist Tom Cabrera and featuring his collage works. This exhibition celebrates the layered, fragmented, and transformative nature of collage as both a medium and a concept. The images have come from many places and can include photography, painting, drawing, found objects, ephemera and fabric. These works push the boundaries of how collage can be interpreted. From the whimsical to the dramatic, this colorful, imaginative, and provocative exhibition invites you to see collage in a whole new way. Refreshments will be served. Westbury Arts programs are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the governor and the New York State Legislature.
