Bookbinding 101 Workshop @ Yhana Boba Cafe

Create a Beginner-Friendly Hardcover Book, Spooky Season Edition, in Grayslake, IL Make a Spooky Season Book Craft With Friends! Join local artist and crafter Laura Castaños at Yhana Boba Café on a Thursday evening after work or school to make your first hardcover book. No experience necessary! I'll show you step-by-step how to make this craft to take home at the end of our session, all while we enjoy drinks and treats from your favorite local family-owned boba shop. Yhana Boba Café is generously hosting this event in their space, so please take care of them by shopping (and, of course, tipping) the same way they actively take care of their beloved community. We agreed to make this event -- right before Halloween! -- special and spooky-themed. So! This time, I'm bringing some interesting looking cover papers to play with (think eyeballs, moon and stars, autumn leaves, and the like) to get us in the mood to celebrate spooky & cozy season. Bring your friends! I really love to visit Grayslake. I found support in art-loving friends, generous hosts in local businesses, peers passionate about community support, and a culture of people who love where they live. Thanks so much for hosting me so often! Much love from Mundelein, Laura <3 *Please note that drinks are not included in your ticket. *Also note, I may have gone overboard finding some cool handmade and screen-printed papers for the event, so please take full advantage. ;-)
