Caring for Yourself While Caring for Others: A workshop for current and future caregivers

Whether you are currently in this role or simply want scaffolding for future scenarios, the afternoon will provide a mix of teaching, guided meditation, and group dialogue, facilitated by two leaders with deep experience in mindfulness-based caregiving. Roy Remer, Executive Director of Zen Caregiving Project (formerly Zen Hospice Project) and Tracy Tingle, end-of-life Doula and Zen Caregiving Project volunteer, will structure the workshop around Roy’s recently released book, Zen Caregiving: Caring for Yourself While Caring for Others. Together, we will learn about and practice present moment awareness, compassion, impermanence, and gratitude.
