GM Vocal Music & Theatre presents: GODSPELL

Good news! This fall, General McLane High School is producing Godspell (2012), the first hit musical by Stephen Schwartz (Pippin, Children of Eden, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Wicked, and more). The show began as a student project at Carnegie Mellon University in 1970 before heading to NYC and becoming a smash on Broadway. For the last 50 years, Godspell has established itself as one of the most beloved and most produced musicals of all time. Set in the modern day, a group of young people join Jesus and Judas as they retell parables using games, improv, and song. Featuring hits like "Day by Day" and "We Beseech Thee," the show takes audiences through the joys and sorrows of the last days of Jesus Christ. Join us November 12-15, 2026 at General McLane High School to see what has kept the world coming back to this iconic musical! ALL TICKET SALES PRIOR TO SHOW DATES ARE ONLINE. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door on show dates beginning 1 hour before show time (cash only at the door).
