Low Cost/No Cost Community Yoga

This vinyasa flow class is taught on a rotating basis between Fox & Friends . It is a beginner to intermediate level class. This Vinyasa flow class is offered on a rotating basis by Fox and friends. Fox has been a longtime community organizer for the Critical Mass bike ride and also guides a monthly Authentic Relating Circle. His decades-long commitment to yoga has been crucial in alleviating the periods of pain and sorrow that life brings, as well as shepherding him through times of immense joy, peace, and inspiration. About two years ago, he created this class as a place where yoga can breathe a little easier. Here we set aside the formality and dogma often found in traditional yoga studios. We welcome a lighter, less formal atmosphere, yet we stay grounded in the evolving science of yoga and movement, preserving what is truly nurturing and safe for the body. Questions can rise freely in the middle of practice, laughter and curiosity are welcome, and our themed classes invite a sense of play and exploration. This is a relaxed and friendly space where community unfolds naturally and movement is guided as much by connection as by tradition. We begin with a gratitude practice and the sharing of our names, letting the space gently open around us. We settle into a quiet seated meditation to return to ourselves and soften the mind. From this stillness we enter our Vinyasa flow, a living stream of postures placed with care and intention, each movement guided and carried by the rhythm of our breath. This is a beginner-to-intermediate level class with challenges and surprises for all levels. You can bring your own yoga mat, blanket, and props; however, loaners are available.
