An interactive evening with LMFT Danielle Skelly on making room for the joys and pressures of the holidays, plus a small craft. The holidays bring a little bit of everything: sweet moments, salty stress, sour surprises and plenty of spice. For military families, the season can also mean time apart, travel, new traditions and extra pressure to make it all feel just right. Join us for "Seasoning the Season: Making Space for the Sweet, Salty, Sour & Spice of the Holidays," an interactive evening led by our own Green Thread Gal, Danielle Skelly. Danielle will lead a conversation about the emotions and pressures the holiday season can bring. We'll take time to reflect, share with one another, and talk through practical ways to make room for both the joyful and the challenging parts of the season. A small craft activity will be woven into the evening. Children are welcome! We’ll have a dedicated space with someone there to keep an eye on them, plus a simple craft and a snack. Meet Our Speaker Danielle Skelly, BS, MA, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist who works with military and civilian individuals, couples and families. She is an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider, has training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Imago Relationship Therapy, and has been a military spouse for 16 years.
