Mary Thomas currently serves as Director of Workforce Development for Oklahoma City Public Schools, following many years of service in the nonprofit sector. In her current role, Mary works alongside an incredible team that helps students connect their high school experience to a meaningful future, with a shared vision that every student graduates ready to fulfill their unique purpose. She recently earned her Master of Arts in Nonprofit Leadership from Oklahoma City University. Throughout her career, Mary has been guided by a heart for service and a leadership style rooted in listening, transparency, collaboration, and empowering others. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships, creating supportive environments, and encouraging others to recognize their strengths and potential. Mary is a proud Okie. She and her husband, Les, were high school sweethearts and have been married 26+ years. Together, they have two children, bonus children, and three beautiful grandchildren. Mary enjoys spending time with family, quilting, and most recently, enjoying her new hobby of raising backyard chickens. Buffet includes gluten free and vegetarian options.
