A Monthly Convening of NWA Weavers We invite you to the October Weave Gathering- a monthly convening of NWA Weavers. Come join alongside other weavers who care deeply about community and connection in Northwest Arkansas. This month we are celebrating Weave's Big Read! In How to Know a Person: The Art of Seeing Others Deeply and Being Deeply Seen, David Brooks addresses a modern epidemic: widespread loneliness, political polarization, and a culture that has lost the art of deep human connection. The book serves as a practical, empathetic guide to developing the skill of making others feel seen, heard, and truly understood. Together, we’ll explore themes from the book and connect them to our own weaving practice. Weavers can expect to participate in active listening exercises, build curiosity about knowing others more deeply, and practice a few simple skills for strengthening relationships and creating meaningful connection. Come ready to listen, reflect, practice, and learn alongside one another. *This event is hosted by WeavingNWA, we’re here to connect and uplift, cultivate relationships, share inspiring stories, and encourage more people to weave community wherever they live.
