Sweet Choux: A French Pastry Experience Be transported to Paris for an evening of French pastry! Get ready to roll up your sleeves and discover the deliciously versatile world of French choux pastry. While choux may have a reputation for being tricky, you’ll quickly discover that with the right techniques, it’s surprisingly approachable—and incredibly fun to make! Our Pastry Chef Instructor will guide you through each step, from mixing the perfect choux dough to piping, baking, filling, and assembling two classic French favorites: eclairs and cream puffs. Along the way, you'll learn the techniques behind creating light, airy pastries with crisp exteriors and delicious fillings. And the best part? Once you master the basics of choux, the possibilities are endless! You'll also learn the fundamentals behind other beloved treats, including gougères, churros, French cruller donuts, and choux beignets. One dough, so many delicious possibilities! No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual, relaxed, and meant to be fun and instructive—not hardcore. Whether you're a baking enthusiast who wants to jump into every step or a first-timer who prefers to observe, assist, or taste test, there’s a place for everyone at the table. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. You will be seated with your booking party. Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment.
