Shaper Origin Candy Dispenser Class (Handheld CNC Introduction) Learn the basics of the Shaper Origin handheld CNC while building a fun and functional candy dispenser to take home! In this hands-on class, students will get an introduction to how the Shaper Origin works, including setup, workspace prep using Shaper Tape, loading/designing a project file, and cutting precise parts with CNC accuracy—all while maintaining the control and feel of a handheld tool. Students will use the Shaper Origin to cut and create the components needed for their candy dispenser, then assemble and complete the project during class. This is a great way to see what the Shaper Origin is capable of and gain confidence using it for real woodworking applications like inlays, joinery, templates, and custom projects. With a small class size limited to only two students, there will be plenty of one-on-one instruction and time for questions.
