Great Oaks

A celebration of America's most widespread hardwood tree. Capacity: 30 people We just celebrated our 195th birthday, and of all our Cemetery trees, there are few that are more majestic and revered than our legacy oak trees. Join us as we will view a sampling of spectacular, mature oaks believed to be as old as Mount Auburn. Fun Fact: Did you know that Mount Auburn Cemetery is an accredited Level III Arboretum (one of only 46 in the world!)? Experience a deeper connection to Mount Auburn Cemetery with free access to all our public programs and discounts on special events by joining the Friends of Mount Auburn. Our robust roster of programs each year is made possible by the generous support of our donors and in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
