COME TOGETHER FOR ALEX — SEPTEMBER 27

On March 24, 2026, our family lost our son Alex to suicide. He was 34 years old. This September, during Suicide Prevention & Awareness Month, I’ve committed to moving 48.8 miles in recognition of the 48,824 lives lost to suicide in the United States in 2024. But September 27 isn’t about completing my mileage. It’s about all of us coming together. 💜 SEPTEMBER 27 — THE FINAL 4.8 📅 Sunday, September 27, 2026 ⏰ 8:00 AM 📍 Meet at Fleet Feet Fresno -- 9447 N. Fort Washington Rd. Suite 106, Fresno, CA 93730 We’ll come together and head out toward Woodward Park for the final miles of this journey. You do NOT have to run 4.8 miles. • Walk with us.Run with us. Do one mile. Do the entire 4.8. Come out simply to support everyone. • Bring your family. Bring a friend. There is no required distance, no required pace and no race clock. • This isn’t a race. • It’s a chance to stand together, remember the lives we’ve lost, support those who are struggling, and start conversations that matter. • Every step counts. Every mile counts. Every life matters. 🏊 🚴 🏃 THE ALEX TRI September 27 will also bring to a close something I’m calling The Alex Tri. During the weekend, before the final event, I’ll complete three challenges in Alex’s memory: • 🏊 Friday, September 18 — SWIM 48 × 50s • 🚴. Saturday, September 19 — BIKE 48.8 miles • 🏃. Sunday, September 20 — RUN 4.8 miles Three events. One mission. Raise awareness. Start conversations. Remember those we’ve lost. Bring hope to people who may be struggling. And just like our culmination event on September 27, you don’t have to complete any of these distances to participate. Do what you can, wherever you are ... then SHARE YOURS.
