Armenian Film Festival - US Premiere of A Woman Today Join Armenian Film Society on Saturday, September 19 at 11am for the US Premiere of Robert Guédiguian's A Woman Today. A Woman Today comes to the Armenian Film Festival after its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival. Juliette is thirty-five and seems to have it all: a high-profile job in the financial sector, a beautiful home, and a life of constant travel. Her mother hopes to have grandchildren, while Juliette's nights are filled with fleeting lovers. One day, however, she is attacked by a colleague during a company event, and her world falls apart. Juliette then decides to embark on a new journey to find meaning in her life. Robert Guédiguian explores the stories of those he calls, in Victor Hugo's words, the "poor": workers, employees, small business owners, the unemployed, immigrants, and the marginalized.
