Accessible Tram Tours at Sweetwater Wetlands Park

We are offering tram tours at the park! Thank you Wild Spaces & Public Places! Tram tour meets in the parking lot. Sweetwater Wetlands Park recently aquired a ten passenger electric tram, courtesy of the Wild Spaces & Public Places one-cent sales tax! We will be offering scheduled accessibility park tours in addition to our call ahead service. In the event of heavy rain or severe weather, the tour will be cancelled. Take a guided tour at Sweetwater Wetlands Park and learn about the park's history and management, and the wildlife and plants that can be found here. The tour is free with general park admission fee ($5.00/vehicle). Program Information • Must have the ability to follow visual and/or verbal instruction independently or with the assistance of a companion. • The tram is able to accommodate a wheelchair, however, the ramp has a combined 250 lbs weight limit. • Must have the ability to board and disembark from a tram independently or with the assistance of a companion or with the use of adaptive equipment. • Must have the ability to withstand exposure to the outdoors, offroad terrain, and sit for a period of 1 hour. • We can accommodate a wide variety of needs. You will be contacted via email. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation so others may participate. No shows will be placed on stand by list and future reservations removed. We can accommodate up to 7 guests on each tour and tickets must be booked in advance for all your guests. The tour is a mixed group tour so please understand you will be joined by other visitors and fans of the park. Special accommodations: Additional dates can be scheduled based on staff availability.
