Handmade Paper Workshop: October

Give your scrap paper, junk mail, old letters, and school papers a second life. In this hands-on workshop. You'll learn the art of papermaking... transforming everyday paper waste into something wholly unique. You'll get an introduction to the simple tools of the craft, walk through the papermaking process step by step, and explore how each batch of paper can be customized through color, texture, and floral or herbal infusions. Prepare to get a little messy as you pulp, pour, and press your own sheets to take home at the end of the evening. Part science, part art, and entirely sustainable: this is a relaxed evening spent learning a centuries-old practice with a distinctly personal twist. No experience necessary. All materials provided.
