Free Halloween event! Storytime, signings, goody bags & raffle. NWI author Chad Hunter. Benefiting BGC NWI. Oct 10, 3-6pm, B&N Schererville. Get Ready for the MonsterMANia Kingdom Takeover! Join NWI author Chad Hunter for a free Halloween community celebration at Barnes & Noble Schererville! MonsterMANia Kingdom Takeover celebrates the launch of MonsterMANia!! The Great Candy Caper — a children's picture book where classic monsters are bumbling candy thieves outwitted by two fearless kids. The event also celebrates the re-release of The Monster Man: King of Fools — the dark fantasy horror novel featuring Dracula, Frankenstein, the Mummy, the Werewolf, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon, with a foreword by MeTV's Svengoolie. The event features storytime readings, book signings, 50 free goody bags courtesy of Albanese Confectionery, and a $25 Barnes & Noble gift card raffle. RSVP on Eventbrite and get 2 entries in the $25 Barnes & Noble gift card raffle — winner must be present at the event! A donation pumpkin will be on-site benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Northwest Indiana! Free. All ages.
