Join us in person for the November meetup of Black Women Page Turner. Overview A monthly book club for Black women (age range 20s-40s) in GR. Read great books, support Black authors, and make lasting friendships. About the Club: 📚 Welcome to Black Women Page Turners of Grand Rapids! Hello, avid readers! I've been thinking about starting a book club in the Grand Rapids area for Black women, primarily ages 25 to 40, though all adults (21+) are welcome. Whether you're an avid reader or simply looking to make new friends, I hope this group can become a space to build genuine connections and a strong sense of community. We'll meet once a month to explore a variety of books, including fantasy, horror, historical fiction, romance, mystery, thrillers, literary fiction, and more. Each month, we'll vote as a group on our next read, with an emphasis on supporting Black stories and Black authors whenever possible. Our meetings will be held at local cafés, bookstores, libraries, and other businesses around Grand Rapids. My hope is that this group becomes more than just a book club, but a place where friendships grow, conversations flourish, and everyone feels welcome.
