What is Soul Retrieval? In many shamanic traditions, it is believed that significant life experiences such as trauma, grief, prolonged stress, or major life transitions can cause aspects of our essence to separate as a way of protecting us. While this serves an important purpose in the moment, many people later describe feeling disconnected from themselves, lacking direction, or feeling as though a part of them is missing. Soul retrieval is a sacred shamanic practice that seeks to compassionately reconnect you with these lost aspects of yourself. Through traditional journey work, the practitioner enters an altered state of consciousness using rhythmic drumming, rattling, and ceremonial techniques to connect with compassionate spirit allies. During this journey, soul fragments may be retrieved, power animals may reveal themselves, and healing work is performed to support a renewed sense of balance, vitality, and wholeness. Your Healing Journey Each session is thoughtfully guided and tailored to your individual needs. Your experience begins with Reiki energy healing, allowing your body and spirit to relax while bringing awareness to areas that may need additional support. From there, energetic cord cuttings are performed to help release attachments and energetic blockages that may be preventing you from moving forward. Sacred rattling is then used to encourage energetic movement and prepare the chakras for deeper healing. You will then experience a shamanic drum bath using a traditional bear-hide drum, whose rhythmic vibrations are honored for their healing and medicine energy within Peruvian shamanic practice. Once the space has been prepared, Stephanie journeys to the Lower World, where she works alongside compassionate spirit allies to retrieve soul pieces, reconnect you with power animals when appropriate, and perform healing work around the soul. Your session concludes with chakra balancing to help integrate the healing you've received, followed by time to discuss your experience, any messages or insights that came through, and ways to continue supporting your healing after your session.
