Upstate Environmental & Economic Summit

First in a three‑part series highlighting regional, local and state leaders who share a vision for better planning and smarter growth. SCDES invites visionary leaders of state and local government, business, utilities and conservation to explore how to be stewards of the environment during times of sustainable economic growth. This Summit will strengthen connections and build a path forward on key environmental issues and opportunities for communities across the Upstate Region. The agenda will feature panel discussions and interactive sessions on economic impacts, growth challenges, coordination between public and private partners, infrastructure priorities, brownfields opportunities, wastewater capacity, transportation needs and solid waste and recycling systems.
