Drum Studio is a semester-based group learning experience for adults and teens age 14+. Grab your sticks and let's get better together! Drum Studio is a semester-based group learning experience for adults and teens age 14+. Students develop good form, stick control, reading, understanding of rhythm, coordination, musicality, and confidence through guided study using practice pads, percussion, and collaborative music-making. Recommended for adults and teens age 14 and up who want to improve their drumming in a supportive and motivating environment. Schedule Fall semester: September-December Tuesdays, 7:15–8:15 p.m. September 8–December 22 Spring semester: January-April Tuesdays, 7:15–8:15 p.m. January 12-April 27 Who is this for? • Progressing beginners who want a great foundation • Intermediate drummers who want to level up • Self-taught drummers with bad habits (This was me!) • Drummers who want an easy-to-understand method of reading musical notation, reading and writing charts, and understanding subdivision in a simple way • Any drummer who feels “stuck” in their knowledge, vocabulary, or physicality What’s included: • 16 weeks of 1-hour group learning sessions in-person at Empowered Music • Online resource library containing lesson recaps and practice materials • Online community to share progress and accountability What to bring: • Sticks • Practice pad and stand (we have some to borrow) • Notebook (optional) Course Tuition: $399 covers all 16 weeks of instruction https://www.empoweredmusicpa.com/store/p/empowered-drum-studio
