Susquehanna Riverlands Conservation Landscape Summit

Come learn about the impact of conservation initiatives along the Susquehanna River! We invite you to our annual Susquehanna Riverlands Conservation Landscape summit on December 10th at the Burning Bridge Tavern in Wrightsville. Light refreshments and coffee will be served. This year’s summit will feature: (1) updates from PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and the Lancaster Conservancy on projects and initiatives impacting the region (2) presentations from Susquehanna National Heritage Area about their Susquehanna Discovery Center project and their grant program (3) interactive stations to explore partner projects and resources (4) a panel of local businesses who will discuss how they are impacted by outdoor recreation Afterwards, there will be opportunities for attendees to network with speakers and other invitees. Speakers include: Lori Yeich, Recreation & Conservation Manager, PA Department of Conservation & Natural Resources Fritz Schroeder, President & CEO, Lancaster Conservancy Jonathan Pinkerton & Peter Miele, Susquehanna National Heritage Area Panelist: Jason Blome, Cycleworks Panelist: Jake Sitler, Endo Collective Café Panelist: Terilyn Le Duc, Kayak LanCo Where: Burning Bridge Tavern (108 Hellam St #1310, Wrightsville, PA 17368) Parking: Street parking is available around Burning Bridge Tavern. There are additional parking spaces available across the street in a gravel lot along Howard Ave or behind the Burning Bridge Tavern along South Alley. For those needing parking close to the venue for mobility reasons, please utilize the parking along Howard Ave. Who should attend: Elected officials, municipal employees, business and nonprofit leaders including outfitters, along with trail, environmental, and cultural organizations are all welcome to attend this event.
