This advanced course starts with the basics of CPR for healthcare professionals then moves on to highlight the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS). This meets the standards of the emergency medicine board in Nebraska for those requiring a professional level BLS and ACLS training with the most current guidelines.
