NEW CERTIFIED FARMERS MARKET: JANUARY 9 - Farm House Collective, Riverside

Will continue every Friday, 10am-3pm, rain or shine. Featuring an array of local farm-fresh, seasonal produce, and specialty food items. The new Farm House Collective Certified Farmers Market will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, January 9, at the Farm House Collective at 1393 University Ave in Riverside, located next to the University of California Riverside. It will continue to be held every Friday, 10am-3pm, rain or shine. The market will feature an array of local farm-fresh, seasonal produce, as well as specialty foods such as Palo Alto honey, Bon Jour yogurts, Enzo’s Kettle Corn, Mom’s Specialty Foods – Mediterranean spreads, and Crepes Tree crepes, to name a few – about 20 vendors in all. A percentage of the sales will help fund the work of Local Hope Guatemala, the non-profit organization sponsoring the new market. The 33-year-old organization empowers families and communities in the remote Western Highlands of Guatemala to be healthy, educated and self-reliant.
