Repeat Reuse FREE Fix-It Fair 10/24/26

Repeat Reuse's Fix-It Fair is a FREE community event aiming to conserve resources, spread the power of repair & promote landfill diversion Do you have a broken item or one that's not working properly and needs repair? Register and bring your broken lamp, small appliance, sewing machine, serger, electronics, torn clothing /textile, or broken bike to Repeat Reuse's FREE Fix-It Fair and have one of our knowledgeable Fixers try to repair your item. Work alongside or just watch to learn valuable repair skills. This is not a drop-off service. Successful repair is not a guaranteed. Fix-It Fairs aim to share technical skills, divert from the landfill, and change the throwaway mindset. By educating the community on repair, we can teach people how to maintain and extend the life of their own goods while conserving Earth's resources. Does the repair cost money? No. This is a FREE event. Please note, this is not a free drop off event. This event is hands-on for those that would like to learn how to repair items themselves with the help of our volunteer Fixers or just watch their item be repaired, if repair is possible. There may be costs involved if your item needs replacement parts. It is the responsibility of the attendee to purchase and bring any (anticipated) necessary parts the day of the event. There are no parts available on site the day of the event, so registering your item is important, it helps the Fixers be more prepared. Monetary Donations, for repair materials, are appreciated to help us continue to bring this event to the public for FREE. How many broken items can I bring to the event? Please bring the item registered. Its possible a second item can be looked at, time permitting. We will do our best to solve the problem, but a successful repair is not guaranteed. Will you accept walk-ins? Depends on how quickly we can repair the items already registered. Walk-ins are welcome, if time permits. How can I contact the organizer with questions?
