Volunteer Day: Make a House a Home with BZP Riverside

Help give new moms and their kids a backyard playhouse and a kitchen made for sharing meals in the City of Riverside. Help turn a house into a home. For new mothers with newborns, a safe home is the first step to a healthy start. Family Promise of Riverside is opening a house (Bright Horizon) for moms who leave the hospital with nowhere to go. This home will house multiple families at a time. Join us to make that house feel like home: a kitchen where meals are cooked and shared, and a backyard where kids can just be kids. On Saturday, November 7 from 9-2 pm, Blue Zones Project Riverside is teaming up with Family Promise of Riverside , for a day of volunteering. Choose the team that fits you best, and by the end of the day you’ll have helped create two of the most important spaces in a family’s life.
