Sounds of the Season: A Holiday Concert

The Lake County Symphony Orchestra rings in the season with holiday classics, audience singalongs, and Leroy Anderson's beloved Sleigh Ride. Some holiday traditions are grand, and some are just plain fun — this concert is built to give you both. The LCSO takes the stage for a program that ranges from Nicolai's sparkling Merry Wives of Windsor Overture to Vaughan Williams' gentle Fantasia on Greensleeves and Coleridge-Taylor's rarely-heard Christmas Overture, then leans into pure seasonal joy with Rimsky-Korsakov's Christmas Eve Suite and Leroy Anderson's ever-delightful Sleigh Ride. And you won't just be listening: the evening includes two audience singalongs of holiday favorites, plus a rousing send-off with A Christmas Festival to close out the night. Bring the whole family, bring your voice, and let LCSO set the soundtrack for your holiday season.
