Cross-Industry Future Salon

An in-person salon bringing together people from different industries to explore the future. What changes when you stop looking at the future through only one industry? Northstar Institute brings together founders, operators, professionals, students, creatives, and emerging leaders for an intimate evening of cross-industry discussion. Three confirmed contributors each introduce one signal of change affecting their field. Rather than asking speakers to predict what will definitely happen next, the program asks: What are we seeing? What evidence supports it? What might it change? What could another industry teach us about it? The evening moves from short talks into a fishbowl inquiry and then into small Cross-Perspective Roundtables where participants examine how ideas from one sector may illuminate problems in another. This is not a conference, investment forum, recruiting event, or prediction seminar.
