Inside the Artist’s Studio: Anne Skaug

Step inside artist Anne Skaug’s studio for an intimate conversation about her work, inspiration, and creative process. How do materials hold memories, and where do our ideas of beauty come from? Join We, Renaissance Women for an intimate studio visit and conversation with artist Anne Skaug, whose work explores time, decay, material memory, and how we inherit our ideas of beauty. You’ll have time to explore the studio, see Anne’s work up close, and meet fellow art lovers over a glass of wine. We’ll then gather for a conversation with Anne about these themes and the creative process behind her work, followed by an opportunity to ask questions. Whether you’re a regular gallery-goer or simply curious, you’re warmly welcome. Come with a friend or on your own! 6:30-7:00 pm: Enjoy a glass of wine (or n/a wine), meet fellow guests, and explore the studio. 7:00-7:45 pm: A conversation with artist Anne Skaug, hosted by Jennifer Grace. 7:45-8:30 pm: Audience Q&A, followed by more time to mingle and view the artwork.
