Spell It Forward: An Erie House Adult Spelling Bee

Join the Erie Associate Board for a Spelling Bee Fundraiser! Gather a team of 5 to compete, or join us as an audience member. Spell It Forward: An Erie House Adult Spelling Bee Erie Neighborhood House is a Chicago nonprofit offering a wide range of programs and services for youth, adults, and families. Among these are our literacy programs including READS, early childhood and school-age education, and ESL classes for adults which inspired the theme for this event. Our Associate Board (Erie House's young professionals board) is hosting an Adult Spelling Bee Fundraiser to celebrate that literacy work while raising funds to support Erie House. Event Details Friday, September 25 6:00–9:00 PM Erie Neighborhood House: 1347 W Erie St. Chicago, IL 60642 Doors open at 6:00 PM for mingling, with the spelling bee kicking off at 6:30 PM. Food and drinks will be provided throughout the night. Pricing • Compete on a team: $40 per person (teams of 5) • Attend as an audience member: $20 per person Raffle Try your luck in our raffle for a chance to win some great prizes! Bilingual Book Drive We're collecting bilingual book donations at the event so please bring a book to help support literacy in our community! Each book will earn you a 1 raffle ticket!
