Kadel, MD is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in musculoskeletal injuries, with a renowned expertise in the unique needs of dancers and performing artists. A graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine and Harvard's Orthopedic Surgery residency program, she is a recognized leader and Past-President of both the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (2019–2021) and the Performing Arts Medicine Association (2014–2016). In addition to her extensive academic and research contributions, she is a certified instructor in the doctor-recommended Zena Rommett Floor-Barre Method™. Currently based in New York City, Dr. Kadel continues to serve the arts community as an international speaker, multi-state "Top Doc" recipient, and faculty member. Bridging the gap between clinical physical therapy and elite performance, Dr. Kadel utilizes the Zena Rommett Floor-Barre® technique to help students lengthen, correctly align, and strengthen their bodies safely without the weight-bearing pressures of gravity. Her targeted classes focus on activating the deep core muscles and inner thighs, committing proper anatomical alignment to muscle memory.
