"Dear Life" Exclusive Houston Screening

Catch an exclusive in-person Houston screening of Dear Life followed by an artist Q&A. "Dear Life" Film Screening & Q&A | ONE NIGHT ONLY November 8, 2026 | Rec Room | Houston, TX Join us for a special one-night-only screening of "Dear Life", a surrealist visual album born from the shared creative minds of Mad Whit, T. Lavois Thiebaud, and Andrew Whit. Created as companion pieces, the vinyl album and 30-minute film "Dear Life" explores mental illness, substance abuse, and recovery through a wild and deeply personal landscape of sound and imagery. The music shapes the film's emotional journey, while original interludes, surrealist symbolism, and unexpected moments bring its world to life. Moving through the dizzying highs, crushing lows, beauty, and absurdity of living with bipolar disorder, "Dear Life" finds room for humor, tenderness, chaos, and the strange business of being human. The film is making its way toward a planned 2027 festival premiere. But first, we're bringing it to Houston for a night of celebration with the home-team. Hope to see you there! --- This project is supported in part by an Austin Live Music Fund Grant.
