The Houston Hackathon is an opportunity for people from all backgrounds and skillsets to come together and collaborate on projects to improve life in the Greater Houston area. You will learn more about the challenges and start forming teams during the kick-off. NOTE: This is a “civic” hackathon, focused on ideating, designing, and developing practical solutions to tackle some of Greater Houston’s even greater challenges. Project stakeholders will be there from the city, county, local organizations, and Houston's impact community — get ready to get engaged! New projects may be presented at this time, too! 12:30PM Team Formation 1:00PM Teams Formed, Lunch + Hacking Begins! 1:00PM Ongoing Coaching & Feedback 4:00PM Next Steps for Self Organizing: You can continue working in the public spaces at the Ion until 7:00 PM. Friday, Sept 25: The Kick-Off will be in person from 11:30AM-5:00PM. Hackers can continue collaborating at the Ion until 7PM.
