On Turning 250 — Opening Reception Join Blue Prolific Studios for the opening reception of On Turning 250, a new exhibition reflecting on the Black Southern experience through the people, memories, and objects that continue to shape Black life in Houston. Marking America's 250th anniversary, the exhibit explores what has been carried, preserved, and passed forward across generations and asks, What would we choose to carry now? What survives?
