Reimagining the Role of a Farmer

Hear from Cath Conlon of Blackwood Educational Land Institute for an evening of learning at the Skyfarm at POST Houston. This Farmer Lecture by Cath Conlon will cover • farmers as public health practitioners, engineers, and healers • share about the future of farming practices, including urban farming and regenerative soil management • share about the Food as Medicine Regenerate Luncheon and the importance of education Attendees will leave with a better understanding of their local food supply chain and the importance of supporting small farmers. The lecture will take place from 6:30-7:30 pm, followed by an optional Q&A with Cath until 8 pm. Food and drinks will be available to purchase at the POST Food Hall before or after the event.
